Grahame’s two main guitars are a 2013 Gibson ES-335 with ’57 Classic Humbuckers and a 2003 Gibson SG ’61 Reissue also with ’57 Classic Humbuckers. The SG is open tuned to E for slide guitar work. He is not very “picky” about what pick he uses other than they are typically .70mm or thicker. Grahame’s strings of choice are D’Addario 10-46. His amp is a Fender Princeton Reverb ’65 Reissue with a 12” Eminence Cannabis Rex speaker. His pedalboard is small, especially for travel. It includes an Ernie Ball volume pedal, a TS9 Tubescreamer mini overdrive set to a relatively clean drive sound, an SMS Earth Drive overdrive set to a heavier, “creamier” tone, and ends with a Strymon El Capistan virtual tape echo pedal. His Princeton amp also provides reverb and tremolo as needed.
